Shipping is not included in product prices unless otherwise specified. We charge actual shipping charges which are calculated after check out. If you need a shipping quote before purchasing, please either e-mail us or check the box “request shipping quote” on the check out page.  We will send you a shipping quote before we process your order.

Orders weighing 149 pounds or less are shipped UPS ground.  Please allow 6-9 days shipping time excluding holidays and weekends.  Upon receipt of package you must inspect all items for damage.  On the rare occasion that UPS has damaged the freight, please have the driver note the damage on the bill of lading, or refuse to accept the delivery and notify us immediately.  Should you accept damaged goods by signing for them, the claim for damage becomes your responsibility and we would be unable to assist you in processing the claim.

Orders weighing 150 pounds or more are shipped via a common carrier.  Common carrier deliveries must be signed for, so please be available.  In addition, the shipping company will not unload the merchandise.  If the merchandise is too heavy to lift, it is the customers responsibility to provide the unloading method.  Please allow 8-10 days shipping time excluding holidays and weekends.  Upon receipt of package you must inspect all items for damage.  On the rare occasion that the freight has been damaged by the carrier, please have the driver note the damage on the bill of lading, or refuse to accept the delivery and notify us immediately.  Should you accept damaged goods by signing for them, the claim for damage becomes your responsibility and we would be unable to assist you in processing the claim.  

We can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.  You are responsible for all freight charges on shipments that are refused or returned with no fault on our part.  We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages or losses to defective products.  The limit of our liability is the replacement cost of any item you purchased from us.

We only ship within the 48 U.S. continuous states.  We do not ship to Canada or Mexico or internationally.

Products, except special order items or large items such as koi heaters and filtration equipment, can be returned within 2 weeks from the date of receipt for a refund when product is returned in original condition (suitable for resale) with original packaging and manuals.  All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.  Allow 4-6 weeks for the credits to be processed.  Freight will not be reimbursed and is the customers responsibility to pay for return shipping.  We strongly suggest the return items be sent insured as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in shipping.  All returns must be authorized by our returns department and must have an Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package or the return will not be accepted.   

Warranties on products are extended from the manufacturer of that specific product.  Apex Pond Supply will help acquire warranty assistance from the manufacturer of the product.
